29th campaign season kicked off in early September. Sign-ups for the campaign are open, and we are once again striving to reach all eighth-graders nationwide this year. Sign-ups are open primarily during the autumn term, but the campaign will run throughout the 2024-25 school year. In the campaign, eight-graders learn useful skills for taking care of themselves and others.
It is recommended that you sign up for the campaign as early as possible. This way, the representatives of the school and the rescue department have time to schedule the joint teaching. In previous years, representatives of schools have praised the support provided by rescue departments. Making use of the opportunity to organise a visit to the school by the rescue department is absolutely worthwhile.
Of course, teaching can also be arranged yourself if necessary. The campaign’s classroom materials are designed to be easy to use. NouHätä! teaching can also be provided by a substitute teacher, for example. The campaign’s themes are related to health education as well as other subjects. It is also fully permissible to apply the campaign materials locally at schools.
Welcome on board!
